ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Job opportunities in healthcare are growing, and an employment expo at Darton College Tueday afternoon focused on these trends.
Area hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and personal care facilities were on hand to talk with visitors about the types of jobs that are available.
Darton College's Allied Health Division offered short seminars on hiring trends and job outlooks for people seeking a career in the healthcare field.
"We have immediate openings, there're nurses, LPNs, just a lot of allied health positions. There's even some positions that are non-healthcare related at doctors' offices, things of that sort," said Lisa Bragg of WALB Job Link.
