ALBANY, GA (WALB) - What was supposed to be a joyous occasion became tragic after an Early County couple was killed in a traffic accident on their way to their son's wedding.
61-year-old Billy Parish and 56-year-old Pat Parish of Blakely were on their way to Oklahoma..
Around 8:00 AM Friday morning, the couple was headed northbound on Highway 287 in Bowie, Texas when their vehicle went off of a bridge and landed on a street below.
Police still don't know why the car went off the bridge.
No one else was hurt.
