Pascagoula, Ms.- The Lee County All-Stars staged an incredible comeback to tie their elimination game against Hope Mills, North Carolina Wednesday night at the Dixie Youth World Series.
The North Carolina state champions score the winning run on a passed ball to eliminate Lee County 7-6 in seven innings.
North Carolina jumped out to a 5-1 lead before Lee County rallied to the game in the 6th thanks to Jeremy Sheffield's second homerun of the game.
Lee County National returns from the Dixie Youth World Series in winning their league's third state Dixie Youth Baseball title since 1994.
