The Albany State Rams will travel to Chicago, Illinois next month to play Miles College at the Skyway College Football Classic.
The game, originally scheduled for Albany, will be played at the Chicago Public School's Hanson Stadium which seats approximately 25,000.
The game will kick off at 8:00 pm EDT.
The Skyway Classic will be the fourth such contest for the Rams this season.
Albany State will play Savannah State in Macon on October 5th at the Music City Classic, Morehouse on November 2nd at the Gold Rush Classic at San Diego's Qualcomm Stdaium and of course the Rams finish the season in Columbus on November 16th in the Fountain City Classic against Fort Valley State.
The Rams continue their preparation for the senior opener against Valdosta State on August 31st at Hugh Mills Stadium.
Albany State's offensive line was a dealt a blow in the first practice in full pads on Wednesday when starting offensive tackle Ron Simmons broke his foot and will miss the entire season.
Simmons started last year as a redshirt freshman and head coach Mike White says Simmons worked as hard as any player on the team to be in the best shape possible for this season.
Coach White says the Crescent City, Florida product did not miss one voluntary workout this summer.
