ALBANY, GA (WALB) - WALB News 10 was contacted Friday by one of the suspects in a car dealership scam.

Bo Kennedy, who's wanted for theft by taking, called WALB News 10's Jennifer Emert to say there are two sides to the story. We reported Thursday that Kennedy and former general sales manager Joseph Martin are accused of pocketing customers down payments on cars they bought at Carl Gregory Chrysler.

Martin's in custody, but Kennedy has not turned himself in. Kennedy says he's the one who told Carl Gregory what was going on and he says the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office never tried to contact him. Kennedy said he planned to meet with his attorney Friday afternoon before talking with law officers.

Joseph Martin, who was arrested last week remains in jail.
