Albany - It is teacher versus student Friday night at Hugh Mills Stadium when Albany High hosts Southwest Macon.
Albany High head coach Reginald Mitchell will face his former boss Carror Wright.
Mitchell was Wright's defensive coordinator at Dougherty High for two years including the season where the Trojans made it to the AAA state championship game.
Reginald Mitchell left Dougherty after the 2005 season for his first head coaching job at Albany High.
Mitchell's rebuilding project with the Indians has been tough but he hopes to get his first career win against his mentor.
Reginald Mitchell said "I have been doing the best I could this week to contain my emotions knowing that I am going up against my mentor. I definitely appreciate him giving me the opportunity to come to Dougherty County. The one thing I told the guys is that we are going out to win."
Former Dougherty coach C. Wright makes his return to Albany Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Hugh Mills Stadium.
