Though most of these students aren't old enough to vote, Bishop urged them to take an active role in politics by getting to know their local and state elected officials.
"Politics is simply who gets what, when, and how. These students should know that the governmental process is how those resources are allocated," said Rep. Bishop.
Bishop also toured two new computer labs at the school. Dougherty County High recently installed more than 24 new computers and was given several more by Albany State University.
