ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany Police are investigating how a South Albany man received a serious wound Friday afternoon.

Albany Police and EMS were called to this house in the 400 block of Gaines Avenue about 1:30, for what was first reported as a man who had been stabbed.

But when Police arrived, 21-year-old Jarnay Bernard Evans told Police he received the wound when he fell off his bike and landed on glass.

He was taken to an Albany hospital with what is described as a serious wound. He is listed in good condition.
