A South Georgia church is adding a little fun to kids lives in an housing community they own.
The Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church dedicated a new playground and recreation area today at the Bethel Housing Complex.
The church's pastor says this new recreational pavilion will give neighborhood kids a place where they can have fun in a safe place, without any dangers.
Rev. Ernest Davis says, "People don't have to worry about going down to a park or reserving a park area. They know they can just come right here in their own neighborhood."
The church also plans to add a chain-length fence, more picnic tables and benches to the new picnic pavilion.
