Man arrested for Thomasville vandalism

A Thomasville man is arrested for smashing more than two dozen store and car windows.

27-year-old James Poeske is charged with at least thirty counts of Criminal Trespass, a misdemeanor. Some of the charges will be upgraded to felony Criminal Damage to Property if the damage exceeds 500 dollars.

Investigators found a hand-held slingshot, pellet gun, steel ball bearings and copperhead BB's at Poeske's home.

Most of the damages were found early Monday morning after businesses re-opened.
