VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Winds from Tropical Storm Fay blew down a tree in Ware County and caused two cars and a truck to crash.

57 year-old Carl Erabau of Alpharetta was driving south on Georgia 4 just after 5:00 Friday morning.

Investigators say a giant pine tree fell onto his truck.

He was able to pull over just before a second car, driven by Wayne Bowden of Atlanta hit the tree, lost control, ran into a ditch and struck several more trees.

A third car, driven by Joseph Walker of Blackshear, also hit the pine tree.

Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.
