Waves split twinbill

  The South Georgia Waves score five runs in the fourth inning to beat the Charleston, WV AlleyCats 8-1 in the second game of a doubleheader Tuesday night at the Paul Eames Complex.

Reliever Eric Hull pitched three scoreless innings to earn his first professional win.

The Waves had a chance to sweep the AlleyCats but Jose Diaz gave up three runs in 1 1/3 innings to tie the game at 6 which the Charleston won in ten innings 8-6.

The Waves and AlleyCats close out their series Thursday night at 7:05pm.
