Cairo - The first ever WALB High School football magazine will hit the streets early next week.
The magazine profiles every high school team in our South Georgia viewing area.
It also has our first ever WALB Terrific Ten.
The first player we will feature on the WALB Terrific Ten is Cairo quarterback Angelo Pease. Pease brings balance to a high powered Syrupmaker offense.
Last year, Pease had more than 1000 yards rushing and 1000 yards passing.
He scored 15 touchdowns on the ground and had 15 touchdowns through the air.
It is not just the numbers make that make Angelo Pease a member of the WALB Terrific Ten.
It is his leadership.
Angelo Pease said "Make my reads. Make sure everybody on the right note. Correct everything and try to make no mistakes. Keep my teammates hopes up when we are down."
Cairo coach Tom Fallaw said "Antyime you have a player at quarterback that makes good decisions and also makes something out of nothing. You are always excited about that type of player."
