AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - One of Georgia's United States Senators stopped in Americus Tuesday to present a technical college with a $75,000 grant.
Senator Saxby Chambliss presented South Georgia Technical College with a USDA Rural Development grant.
The grant is expected to help grow business opportunities in Sumter County. South Georgia Technical College will use the money to purchase a truck driving simulator.
