DOUGHERTY COUNTY , GA (WALB) - A Dougherty County golf clubhouse is burglarized for the second time in one week. The owner of River Pointe says whoever it is, is familiar with the business.
Sunday night, someone kicked in the Pro-shop door, and took the safe. It contained more than $10,000 worth of cash and checks. They also took golf equipment, GPS units, and the Oakley sunglasses case.
Last Tuesday night someone broke in the back door of the River Pointe Golf Club and stole more than $14,000 worth of golf equipment and two big screen TV's.
Dougherty County Police are asking for your help in catching the thief. If you have any information, call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS. You could get a reward of up to $1000.
