VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - An 89 year-old Waycross woman is killed when her car was hit by a train.

Investigators say Pearl Douglas was driving over the tracks at Jamestown Road and Atwater in Ware County Sunday night.

While crossing the tracks, her car slide off the road in the rainy conditions and got stuck.

She was hit and killed by a CSX train.
