Douglas - A coaching change will not bring many changes for the Coffee High football squad this season.

Defensive coordinator Ken Eldridge is now the Trojans head coach after Jerry Odom took a coaching job in the Arena Football League.

Eldridge is looking to continue building a program at Coffee.

The foundation has been laid with the Trojans posting back to back nine win seasons.

Coach Eldridge says he and his staff still working on the mental aspect in getting his players to expect to win every Friday night.

With 12 starters returning, Coffee High has a chance to continuing winning this season though depth is a concern.

Ken Eldridge said "Our entire schedule is just tough top to bottom. That is going to be the number one obstacle with that. We probably don't have as much depth as we have had in the past. We have got a lot of hard working kids. That are doing good and getting better every day. We have to build depth among our young kids."

Coffee High opens the season at a Ware County team ranked number one in AAAA.
