MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Some south Georgia Drivers got a little break at the pump thanks to a gas station price war.

At Texaco on 1st Street S.E. in Moultrie, gas was $3.41 per gallon.

Across the street at EnMark, drivers lined up to pay $3.39.

The stations lowered prices to compete with the Murphy U-S-A on Veterans Parkway which dropped its price to 3.39 last night as part of a grand opening celebration.

"I fill up every Friday, I work in Tifton, I usually fill up there but I heard the gas prices down here were lower," said Ray Douglas, Worth County.

The new station said they've seen hundreds of cars at the pumps and had to have four gas deliveries today to keep up with demand.
