Stone opens Headquarters

August 5, 2002

A 16-year veteran of the Dougherty County commission opens his campaign headquarters. Democrat Jack Stone is running against Lyman King for the District 6 seat.

Supporters gathered at his headquarters at 2700 Liberty Expressway this afternoon. Stone was first elected to the county commissioner in 1987. He says his accomplishments prove he is a qualified candidate.

"I helped to put a new EMS station near Radium Springs and helped to pave roads in this district. I think voters know I want to help them," said Stone.

Don't forget the primary election is Tuesday, August 20th.
