ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia's women's forum learned how to live life without letting it get the best of them.

More than three dozen women met Wednesday afternoon at Doublegate County Club for Darton College's Professional Women's Forum.

After hearing about how they could help the United Way, women in attendance learned how to get the best out of life from author and motivational speaker Muriel Moton.

"It's our vision that's going to keep us inspired and empowered and keep moving forward because, if we don't have anything to hold on to, then letting go is easy," said Moton.

The Darton College Professional Women's Forum meets as many as four times a year. For more information about their events you can contact the college communications office.
