Employee arrested for armed robbery

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A Dairy Queen employee was arrested at work Friday and charged with a robbery that happened there earlier in the week.  

Wednesday night around 10 p.m., 2 employees had just locked up the store.  Two masked gunman came up behind them and made them get on the ground. Then they took off with the night deposit bag.

Police say they think an employee and another man are responsible.  Lieutenant Karen Murray of the Thomasville Police Department said, "After interviewing witnesses and employees and other victims of the robbery, we were able to come up with the identity of 2 possible suspects."

Christopher Roundtree, the Dairy Queen employee and Christopher Garlin are charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, possesion of a firearm during the commission of a crime, kidnapping, theft by receiving.
