ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The price for a gallon of gas finally dropped this week in south Georgia and now the price on another gallon is falling.
The price for a gallon of milk has fallen nearly 70 cents in the last several days.
Right now, Publix supermarkets are charging $3.69 a gallon, that's down from over four dollars just last month. In fact, Publix has cut the price on several staples including eggs and bread.
It's part of their new campaign promoting lower prices on staples that families use everyday.
