MACON, GA (WALB) - The federal trial for a south Georgia Public Defender has been rescheduled.
Tim Eidson will now have his day in court on August 21st.
He was originally scheduled to appear before a judge this week.
He was indicted in June for false statements and obstruction of justice.
Prosecutors accused him of trying to get a judge to delay his wife's drug case while he applied for the Chief Public Defender position in Cordele.
He is currently on a paid leave.
