ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Coffee County investigators are looking for a suspected major marijuana grower.
Coffee Sheriff Jerry Pope said earlier this week, lawmen confiscated 617 marijuana plants from a wooded area off Old River Road.
They linked Tommy Shane Morton Junior to those plants and charged him with manufacturing marijuana. Two other marijuana patches were raided and a total of 12 plants seized.
Richard Dalton the Third and Joshua Griffin were arrested in those cases and charged with manufacturing marijuana.
