The South Georgia Waves probably were not happy to see rain fall at Columbus' Golden Park on Thursday.
Riding a two game winning streak, the Waves will have to wait until Friday to go for their third straight win as heavy rains postponed Thursday night's game.
The game will be made up in doubleheader that starts Friday afternoon at 5pm in Columbus.
Columbus native Edwin Jackson(4-1) , who was scheduled to start Thursday for the Waves will be pushed back to Friday against the Redstixx Travis Foley (10-4).
Friday's scheduled starter for the Waves is Leigh Neuage(0-2) will start the second game against Columbus' Dan Denham(0-8).
The Waves close out their road trip Saturday night in Columbus and return to Albany for a seven day, eight game homestand that starts Tuesday night at Paul Eames Stadium.
