Parents are encouraged to keep their children away from mushrooms and unless you are an expert it might not be a bad idea to get rid of them.
Emergency room doctor John Holmes says he's seen more than a few people over the years poisoned by mushrooms with symptoms ranging from stomach aches to seizures.
Holmes says, "it's best if possible to bring mushroom causing the symptoms in so we can identify it and target our treatment and level of toxicity."
As with any possible poisoning, it should be evaluated immediately.
