Albany - Westover is looking to build on the best season in school history when the Patriots made it to the state quarterfinals.

The problem for the Patriots is many of the key players from last year have graduated.

Among the holes to fill is at quarterback where Reshad Jackson would have been the starter last year if not for a shoulder injury. T

he Patriots have a solid receiving corps led by WALB Terrific Ten selection Greg Green.

The big question mark is on both lines of scrimmage.

Westover moved to Dontavious Jones to defensive tackle to shore up that area but the secondary should be the strong part of the Westover defense.

Coach Jeff Caldwell said "Got a long way to go. Thank goodness we have a lot of practice time. Hopefully, we can find the pieces to the puzzles, put it together and be ready to play."

Westover opens the 2008 season at Lee County.
