A south Georgia band is hard at work preparing for the upcoming football season.
The Lowndes High School Marching Bridgemen is holding its summer band camp this week. Despite extreme temperatures, the 350-member band has practiced every day from 9 am until 10 pm.
"We're having a great year so far, the only problem I know of is that we have too many good marchers," says Ashley Council, drum major.
The Lowndes High football season will begin August 30th.
