VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - One new business has capitalized on Valdosta's new title.
Title Town Realty just opened its doors at Ann and Slater streets.
Of course, Title Town is Valdosta's newest nickname after being named the best sports community in the country by ESPN last month.
Title Town Realty owners say they selected their name even before the city won.
"When ESPN came to Valdosta, we were all excited about Title Town and we know at that time, if they weren't named Title Town, we were still a Title Town," says co-owner Mandy Painter.
Title Town Realty is a residential real estate company.
City leaders think other businesses will use the Title Town name in the near future.
