VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The man charged with the murder of a Lake Park store clerk will be back in Georgia Tuesday.
Twenty-year-old Daymon Heard waived his extradition rights Monday in a Jacksonville courtroom.
He will be taken to Lowndes County Tuesday.
Investigators say Heard walked into the Triangle Foods in Lake Park last Wednesday and shot and killed 48-year-old Jay Patel.
He was picked up in Jacksonville a day later.
Heard is also the suspect into a similar killing of a store clerk in Lake City, Florida.
