LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A Lee County woman was found dead in her Paloma Drive home Monday morning, and the GBI continues to investigate.

Deputies were called to the home in the Springdale Subdivision just after 7:00AM.

47-year-old Janet Murray was found dead in her bedroom. Murray's adult daughter found her after her alarm continued to ring.

Investigators aren't yet releasing the cause of Murray's death, but don't believe it was suspicious.

"We don't work homicides, we work death investigations," says GBI Special Agent in Charge. Danny Jackson.   "We let the evidence and the autopsy inform us of what the person actually died from. At this point in time, we don't know what caused her death, but we're waiting on an autopsy that should be done some time tomorrow."

Investigators did say there was no forced entry to the home and several people spoke with Murray the night before.
