LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The GBI is at a house in Lee County where a woman was found dead Monday morning.
Lee County deputies were called to the home at 106 Paloma Drive after a relative discovered the woman's body just after 7 a.m. Right now, investigators aren't saying how the woman died.
"At this point, when the GBI comes out to the crime scene on all of our investigations, we call the GBI to the crime scene so that they can do an investigation. That's just part of our protocol. So the GBI has taken over the investigation," said Investigator Lewis Harris with the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
