VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Police in Valdosta say they now have several leads to a string of fast food robberies in the city.

The Hardee's on North Patterson Street was the fifth fast food chain to be hit by robbers this month.

They say two masked gunmen entered the store around 9:30 Wednesday night and demanded money from the register.

This time, they got away with nothing since the drawer was empty.

Earlier this month, the Sonic on West Hill Avenue and the Taco Bell on St. Augustine were robbed. The Hardees on South Patterson Street was also robbed twice. Four of the five have robbers matching the same description.

Police hope their new leads will end with several arrests.
