Ty Ty, GA (WALB) - A five-year-old Ty Ty boy was attacked by a pit bull.

The child was playing in yard when a neighbor's dog attacked him around 2:00 PM Thursday.

When animal control and deputies arrived, the dog charged them, and a deputy shot and killed it.

We are told the child was seriously injured. His father was bitten as well trying to pull the dog off of the little boy.

We'll continue to follow this story and have more information as it becomes avaiable.
