Tallahassee, Fl. - One more postseason award for Florida State catcher Buster Posey.
Posey has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference's Baseball Scholar Athlete of the Year.
The former Lee County Trojan was named the ACC's Player of the Year back in May.
Buster Posey is a member of the ACC Academic Honor roll, a five time Dean's List Student and named to the FSU President's List at the spring of his sophomore year.
Buster Posey is one of six FSU baseball players named to the ACC academic baseball team and it is the third straight year Posey has earned that honor.
Posey is currently working out in Tallahassee waiting to sign his contract with the San Francisco Giants.
The deadline for the Giants to sign their first round pick is August 15th.
