THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -  The armed robbery happened around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning at Waffle House.  Only 2 employees were there and no customers when a white male with a bandanna over his face came in.

Thomas County Sheriff's Office Investigator Bob Brettel says, "They reported he had a small silver-color semi-automatic handgun. They gave him the money and he left the store."

He got away with around $500 . Canine units tracked him but lost his scent. If you have any information call the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
