ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany church surprises a missionary whose car was on it's last wheel with the keys to a brand new ride.

Members of the Grace Church of the Nazarene have been collecting money for the past five weeks to provide Georgiano Martinez with a new car. Martinez has been traveling the state for the past several years starting churches for the Hispanic community.

But because of the condition of his old car, Martinez was starting to spend more time on the side of the road. Now with Sunday's big surprise things will change. "I feel, I don't know how to express it. You can see the smile on my face," said Georgiano Martinez.

"We believe firmly the Lord laid it on some hearts and God provided for it. And it's just really exciting to be a part of what God is doing," said pastor, Mark Amspaugh.

Martinez travels an average of four thousand miles a month, and his last car had over 200-thousand miles on it. They hope he will be able to reach more people in his brand new Toyota Avalon.
