Georgia ready for SEC bullseye

Birmingham, Al. - The SEC media days will end on Friday with the media making their prediction on who they believe will win the Southeastern Conference this season.  

The Georgia Bulldogs have good chance to have the bullseye on their back in 2008.

The Bulldogs have 16 starters back from a team that last year won 11 games and finished ranked second in the nation.

Georgia coach Mark Richt knows the pressure is on his football taem and is pleased with the way his players have handled all the hype to this point.

Georgia head coach Mark Richt said "I am glad we have got a real good group of seniors. Believe in the Georgia way. We have got a chance. We have got a chance."

Senior receiver Mohamed Massaquoi said "We know what is at stake. We know what can accomplish and we know what we have to do to accomplish it."

Georgia opens the season August 30th at home against Georgia Southern. 

The game will be televised on a pay per view basis and start at 12:30 p.m..
