SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) - A Sylvester woman facing child molestation charges will remain in jail awaiting grand jury action.
46-year-old Sandra Joyce Diekman was denied bond and is still in jail after being arrested June 27th for three counts of child molestation. Investigators say all three occurred in the past year.
Police say both of her victims were under 14-years-of age, and Diekman is related to one of the victims.
"You can never be to careful about who you leave your kids with. If you have a funny feeling about someone than you don't need to do it. And talk to your kids. Have the "good touch", "bad touch" conversation," said Sylvester Police Lieutenant, Tony Strength.
Police say there may be a third victim in this case....and other charges could be pending.
