THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Casey Webb and Dock Wells were arrested and charged with criminal attempt to manufacture meth.
Investigators had received complaints about Webb making the drug but didn't have evidence. An investigator, Lieutenant Chip Nix with the Decatur County Sheriff's Offices potted Webb at Wal-mart buying ingredients that make meth and then getting into a van parked outside. "I had deputies stop the van. We recovered inside of the van, approximately 100 sudafed pills, it's a key ingredient, coleman fuel which acts as a solvent, draino, which has sodium hydroxide in it," said Nix.
Wells was the driver of the van. Investigators don't know where they planned to make the drug.
