Greensboro - For college football fans, the season is still six weeks away.
Atlantic Coast Conference players and coaches know it is time to hit the practice field when they have to appear before the cameras and reporters at the annual ACC Football Kickoff.
The questions started on sunday with players appearing before the media at Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee.
Georgia Tech all-conference lineman Andrew Gardner getting asked a lot about the triple option offense new head coach Paul Johnson has brought to Atlanta.
Even though most of the Georgia Tech offensive roster was recruited for Chan Gailey's system, Gardner believes he and his teammates are adapting quickly.
Andrew Gardner said "We have a good running quarterback and we have good running backs in the backfield. Big wide receivers that can block well. So, I really think the pieces are there as long as we learn the offense then we are in good shape."
Georgia Tech starts practice on July 30th.
Fans are invited to the "Great Jacket Encounter" on August 2nd from 3-5pm at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
