Wildcats' Young is an old school arena player

July 18, 2008

Albany - After setting the Wildcats single season record for interceptions last week, defensive back Roland Cola says the credit for his record is shared with the defensive line.

Cola's point is that most of the interceptions the Wildcats secondary has been due to pressure on the quarterback by the guys up front.

The anchor of the defensive line is Courtney Young.

The former Indiana Hoosier is one of the more versatile linemen in the AF2.

His play on both the offensive and defensive lines earlier this season was crucial for the Wildcats but that is how this veteran remembers the indoor game used to be played.

Courtney Young said "The thing about that man is i have a lot of knowledge about the game. When i am out there, I am able to tell this guy what to do and that guy what to do if they need my help. So, switching over to offense is really not a problem because I am an old school two way guy anyway."

Wildcats go for their sixth straight win tomorrow night in Peoria.
