ALBANY, GA (WALB) Copper thieves hit another Dougherty County business.

Superior Heating and Cooling Company on Oakhaven Drive was hit overnight Tuesday.

$700 worth of copper wire was taken.

This is the third time in a month metal's been stolen off their trucks at job sites or at their office. Copper is selling for more than three dollars a pound, and Police say the number of metal thefts is skyrocketing.
