VALDOSTA, GA - (WALB) - The Valdosta Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce recognizes a local business for thinking BIG.  

Ambling Companies co-founder Mike Godwin was awarded one the chamber's highest honors by being named the "BIG THINKER" at the chamber's 2008 mid-year meeting.

"We're honored as a company to be apart of the community and to be singled out this way," said Godwin. " We've been very fortunate to be in a great industry at the right time."

Ambling is involved in real estate development, construction, and management.

It has built or manages 40,000 properties in the United States.
