ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A former Tift County Superior Court Judge qualified today for the State Senate District 13 seat.

Judge John D. Crosby retired in 2000 after serving 20 years as a Superior Court Judge. Before that, Crosby served as a state court judge for seven years.

Crosby joins Lee County Commissioner Wally Roberts, Rusty Simpson, Horace Hudgins, and Bob Usry who qualified yesterday.

A special primary will be held in Ben Hill, Crisp, Irwin, Lee, Tift, Turner and Worth Counties August fifth.
