Leesburg, GA (WALB) - A Lee County family was left homeless Tuesday morning after their mobile home caught fire just after 4 a.m.

Luckily no one was home when the fire started inside the home at 427 A Philema Road North in Lee County.

Firefighters worked to control the flames, but the home suffered extensive damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
