THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A frightening robbery at a Thomasville convenience store Friday morning.   Just after 6 a.m., a man with a gun held up the Chevron gas station on Jackson Street.

The masked robber forced a customer who was leaving, to go back inside, then waved a gun at the clerk and demanded money.  Thomasville Police Department's Assistant Commander Melven Johnson said, "Once he got the customer and clerk back in the store he proceeded to rob the store and proceeded to attempt to rob the customer which he refused to give the suspect anything."

The robber ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Thomasville Police are offering a reward in the case.  Call crime stoppers at 229-227-3305 if you have any information.
