Thomasville- Baseball's best players will be on the same field for the annual Major League Basebasll All-Star game next week at Yankee Stadium.
Some future all-stars will also be at the House that Ruth Built.
One of them is Thomasville's Adam Choice.
The 12-year old will participate in MLB's Pitch, Hit and Run national finals on Monday.
Adam, who is the cousin of Georgia Tech running backs Tashard Choice and Joe Burns, won the state competition at Turner Field.
He is a baseball fan and is looking forward to not only competing but also meeting some of baseball's best.
He is also excited about the chance to catch the balls that don't make it out of Yankee Stadium during Monday's Home Run Derby in the final season of baseball's most historic parks.
Adam Choice said "It is amazing. It is the last year it is there and I am going to be one of the last people. It is very exciting."
Adam's coach Mark NeSmith said "Personal accomplishments don't mean a lot to him. He is just a very gifted young man and he likes doing his best for the team."
While Adam is in New York at the All-Star game, his travel team will be playing at the USSSA world series in Pace Florida.
Adam will join the team on Thursday.
