ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Dougherty County School Police Officer and his ex-wife are charged, after a domestic dispute fight at their police headquarters.

Sheldon Johnson and his ex wife Thelma were charged with simple battery. Police say about 3:00 Tuesday afternoon Johnson's ex wife came to their headquarters on Flint Avenue.

She told Police that Johnson pushed her down during an argument.

Johnson is still on duty with Dougherty County School Police while the investigation continues.
