Valdosta  - Valdosta has many ways to celebrate the fourth.

The Spirit of America celebration is underway now on Norman Drive.

The event features live bands, food and a fireworks show at 9:30 PM.

Downtown Valdosta will also host a fourth celebration starting at 6.

It coincides with First Fridays.

Patterson Street downtown will be shut down and many businesses and vendors will stay open until midnight.

The fun 4th festival is also underway in Lake Park.

That celebration will culminate with a parade at 8:30 PM with fireworks to follow.

And if you don't get your fireworks fix Friday night, Reed Bingham State Park in Adel will hold their Fourth festival Saturday.

Activities begin at 10:00 AM and end with a fireworks display at 9:30 PM.
